Each spring over 1,000,000 Sandhill Cranes migrate from their wintering grounds in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona, and Mexico to a "staging area" on the Platte River in Nebraska. While in south central Nebraska, the Sandhill Cranes have time for courting and renewing lifelong bond. This Feathered Friend Sound Card, produced exclusively for Audubon's Rowe Sanctuary, allows you to share their calls with friends all year long. Illustration by Catherine Worley, based on photography submitted to the 2021 Audubon Photography Awards by Marti Phillips.
